2-day Fundamentals of Organizing Leadership Training
Location:
Confluence Center is housed within the Headwaters Foundation building 119 W Main. They are conveniently located across the street from a parking garage, as well as paid, city street parking.

Wednesday September 27th: 9am to 4pm

This event is designed to provide folks with the necessary skills and knowledge to become effective community leaders and understand the basics of broad-based community organizing.
This training is interactive and engaging, with opportunities to practice telling stories, building relationships, and negotiating. Participants will have the chance to engage with experienced community organizers and learn from their expertise. They will learn how to build relationships, analyze power dynamics, identify key issues, and create effective action plans and more.
Overall, this two-day institute equips community members with the skills and knowledge to understand the importance of the role of civic society in a healthy local Democracy.
One recent past participant said in evaluation, “I thought I’d be bored and this would be a lecture style. The event will be held at the new Headwater's location, 219 W Main, Missoula on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 26th and 27th from 9am-4pm. Lunch and snacks will be provided for all attendees.
